NLD youth Network for blood donation

NLD has established a network for blood donation with 10 members on 5th January and now they have about 150 members with voluntary blood donors and NLD youth members. The network helps those who could not afford to buy blood with blood and nutrition donated by well-wishers.

Blood needed for the hospital can be more provided as interest among young people in Blood donation network has been increasing. Due to weaknesses of the blood bank of the hospital that cannot properly operate, a program is designed to help those who need it when they contact the network. It can also build up cooperation among patients, hospital staffs and blood donors and about 35 patients a month can be donated blood so far. The network is now warmly welcome by people in the communities and carries on their work based on the instructions of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
